The Hillsborough County Water Resource and the Southwest Florida Water Management District have joined forces with the School District of Hillsborough County to educate students, teachers and parents about the importance of protecting and conserving our local water resources.

How is this done? Through the magic of live, original and interactive stage performances featuring singing, acting, dancing, costumes, and stage props.
Elementary and middle schools students experience water resource protection and conservation messages delivered in humorous and memorable ways right in their own school. To reinforce the messages the kids learn during the live performances, each classroom receives an “H2O to Go Educator’s Resource Kit” which includes samples of water saving devices (showerheads, faucet aerators, rain gauge and more) and a comprehensive teacher’s resource guide with classroom activities.

This unique project was created as a means to educate, inspire and enable young children on ways they can save, protect and prevent the pollution of our limited freshwater supply. This project is now in its 13th year and reaches over 60,000 students and 2000 teachers each year!
